Though Las Vegas is best known for its spectacular and extravagant firework display on New Year’s, there is no doubt that the Fourth of July is what really makes Las Vegas shine; after all Las Vegas is truly an all-American city.
A city that was built out of the sheer determination of pioneers and visionaries that toiled in the desert to make it the Entertainment Capital of the World. This beautiful image of Showgirls at the Flamingo Hotel in 1954 shows the great spirit of Independence Day like no other.
